For Lisa Gibson, creativity is a state of nature. After 35 years of working as a union carpenter, she decided to retire and take her cues from the environment around her along the Kankakee River in northwest Indiana. She had always made gifts for family and friends herself and now takes that same approach when crafting pieces for her customers. Whether it's sourcing precious stones or creating family trees out of wire, her art is always organic in feel and filled with love.
