Then Susan Rodgers stepped in to craft just-right silvery enhancements: recycled sterling bezel settings and dangling frames crafted to look like willow branches. Though she comes from a long line of artisans, self-taught silversmith Susan Rodgers' road to a creative career took a few detours—like a life-threatening car accident and a 20-year corporate career. Once she realized that she "needed to pursue an artistic life," Susan worked in several mediums before discovering The One: jewelry-making. Summers spent on Fire Island with her family fostered a love of nature that inspire the designs she creates on the North Shore of Long Island.
