Delightful fun!

I bought this glass along with the Old Fashioned glass (mother and son drinks) and love them both. Although the design is a bit cluttered, it captures the essence of the drink (I just wish they had recipes!) Perfect for gin and tonic and anything else served on the rocks.

Unique piece

This glass immediately became my husband's favorite drinking glass. It's very pleasant to hold, and design is intricate and interesting. The fact that the recipe is on the glass itself resulted in my husband asking my over and over again to please get him all the ingredients (sugar cubes, bitters, etc.). In short, he loves this glass!

Cheers to Us Whiskey Set

I got a pair of glasses (Whiskey Sour; Old Fashioned) for an anniversary gift. We liked reading the history cards that come with the glasses and learning more. I like that the recipes are on the glass in two forms (ingredient list vs procedure) so you can interpret things up to your taste. The design is painted on so it's probably best not to wash the glass in a machine. In my experience handwashing makes the paint last longer. It's got a thick bottom and sturdy sides so the glass won't break if it clinks with another glass. That said, I'll be nice to it because I intend to use it a bit. When we don't use them they live in a cabinet with a whiskey bottle and the wood ice cubes that I got to compliment the gift. #sweepstakes

Can I chill these old fashioned glasses in the freezer prior to use?

Yes! Or, fill with crushed ice to chill! Adding a little cold soda water can help as well. The theory is that carbonation speeds up the chilling process. Ice-cold water is not as efficient but will work!
