Out of Yossi Levin's background in community organizing and Max Cheprack's experience in industrial design came a business that works with craftsmen both local and abroad to create thoughtful goods, which range from handsome whiskey tumblers to sustainable cork water bottles. When they're not in the workshop cooking up new partnerships and products, Yossi is probably climbing the stairs at his mountain top home in Haifa, and Max is most likely riding his custom titanium bike across the Carmel Hills.

Care
Read included instructions carefully. Apply honey wax before initial, and between uses. Hand wash only. DO NOT PUT IN DISHWASHER.
Notes
Whiskey Tumbler comes with 10 ml of wax.
Rest assured that these tumblers go through an extensive curing and quality testing process. However, due to the nature of wood as a natural material, they are susceptible to warping and cracking from temperature and moisture changes. For the small amount that develop issues we will always replace, no questions asked.

Defective product
Product leaked out of the bottom the first time I used it. I initially thought it was a drip from pouring, but it leaked even more the second time I used it. Have started a return of this product. Very disappointing.

I should have read the reviews
It leaked after the first 2 minutes of using it. So bummed because it seemed like such a unique gift. Thank goodness for the return policy.

It had ONE job .... to hold liquid .... and it failed
You are just supposed to drink out of it. We followed the care instructions to the letter. On first use it LEAKS!

Such an awesome tumbler, but leaked only after a few uses
My husband loved this tumbler and followed the instructions on how to care for it. Only after a few uses it started leaking. My order confirmation was sent to my junk mail and has automatically been deleted, so I'm not able to start a return.

Aesthetically very nice, structurally, it leaks …
I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my whiskey loving husband. All was well for a while and then one day it began to leak. It is now unusable. He was careful to follow the instructions to no avail. It's a beautiful vessel but unfortunately now it's unusable. I was hoping this would be something he could enjoy for many nightcaps…

Do not buy this!
My husband was excited to receive this gift. Luckily he was able to enjoy one drink from it. The second pour we noticed it was leaking! I had foolishly thought that with previous reviews about leaks, the product would've been improved and resolved. Why would they charge people for a faulty product? Uncommon goods is a reliable company. I was wrong. Do not buy this. Do not fall prey to the discounted price.

Hi! The tumbler is NOT dishwasher safe and should be cleaned by quickly rinsing in cold water if required and wiped dry immediately. Apply honey wax before initial, and between uses. Hand wash only.

Hi there! Per the artist: "It is completely Kosher compliant. That said Kosher isn't a matter of what is in the product but rather a religious document. We do not have religious oversight, rather food safety protocols. There are no materials in the tumbler that are Kosher challenging so it is Kosher compliant but not religiously sanctioned."

Hello. This tumbler looks like a fantastic gift for my husband. I wanted to know if the tumbler needed the beeswax to also maintain the integrity of the wood (to not have whiskey seep into it)? Or is it just to bring out the aroma/flavor of the whiskey as stated in the description? :)
