Aqua Sparkle

Susan Rodgers' beautiful chalcedony necklace brings a splash of sunlit, tropical ocean with you everywhere. The semi-translucent aqua drop, skillfully capped with hand-coiled, recycled sterling silver "branches," is faceted to create subtly sparkling beams as it moves in the light. We think Mother Nature, the supreme artist, gave Susan an A+ on this pendant inspired by Her. 16" rhodium-plated chain with sterling silver accent beads has a 2" extender. Handmade in New York.

Though she comes from a long line of artisans, self-taught silversmith Susan Rodgers’ road to a creative career took a few detours—like a life-threatening car accident and a 20-year corporate career. Once she realized that she “needed to pursue an artistic life,” Susan worked in several mediums before discovering The One: jewelry-making. Summers spent on Fire Island with her family fostered a love of nature that inspire the designs she creates on the North Shore of Long Island.
