Patricia Carlin believes that a small sketch has the power to tell a story without language. She started out as an art director in Philadelphia, selling everything from potato chips to financial products. In 2001, a friend wanted help launching a glassware business, so Patricia designed and wrote copy for several products for the new venture. Patricia has explored many techniques in her illustration, but simple line drawing appeals to her most. "For me, paring things down to their simplest essence is always the best way to understand them," she says.

Beautiful and fun piece of artwork

A Beautiful Picture
This piece of art arrived as expected. It was well packed, nicely framed, and decoratively painted. I'm giving it as a gift. I anticipate they'll like it. It's unique and beautiful. My only suggestion would be to provide a greater variety of colors of ski jackets and pants. I ordered a 5 person picture. While there was a full assortment of skin types and hair colors, the clothing choices were limited.

Is it possible to have all the family members to be skiers. I can only see, adults with skis and kids with snowboards. I will like to have the kids with skis as well. I'm looking to buy it for the grandparents with their 3 grandkids. Thank you, Maryse
