What Makes It Uncommon

Give party guests a feast for their eyes—and their stomachs—when you serve up snacks on Jeremiah and Kassy Reynolds’ statement-making tray. Each one is crafted of upcycled bourbon-barrel lids and bands, then finished with laser-engraved personalization.

  • Jeremiah and Kassy use a barrel head as the base and steel bands to craft the tray’s handles.
  • Add two lines of text in your choice of two fonts: a name (up to 20 characters) for the first, and the year established for the second.
  • Choose either a sanded or whitewashed finish—the portion with the name will retain the natural wood color.
  • Each piece is finished with a food-safe sealer.
  • An Uncommon Goods exclusive.
  • Handmade in Arkansas.

When Jeremiah and Kassy Reynolds first married, Jeremiah got really into building log homes. You know, as one does. What started as a hobby turned into a serious craft, and Jeremiah continued building log and barnwood furniture for 16 years, with Kassy helping out on the finishing touches. People started to take notice, and started requesting pieces made from wine and bourbon barrels. The couple realized they had something special going, and got even more serious about their sourcing—tracking down barrels from all over the country and giving them new lives, right from their workshop in the Ozarks of Arkansas. The rest is woodworking history.

This is a made-to-order item that ships directly from the maker. If you order today your item will ship no later than 12/16/2025.

Items that are made to order or oversized can't be sent in a Gift Bag. Instead, you can include your Gift Message on the shipment's packing slip.  At this time, this item cannot be shipped to APO/FPO addresses, P.O. Nice tray

Made nice and sturdy looks rustic and impressive, but should be noted the surface is uneven and if you wanted to use it to display a dish or glass it won't work in areas. Best used for food directly on it that wont cause anything to spill. To carry something out on it other than food laying directly on it would be hard. But that's the authenticity of the barrel.

We love this Custom Bourbon Barrel Serving Tray!

This is the second custom bourbon barrel serving tray we have purchased as a wedding gift. The first was purchased in September 2024 for friends who were getting married, and the most recent one was for a cousin who recently hosted their wedding. Both couples expressed genuine appreciation for the trays. The tray is sizable and substantial, making it an impressive and memorable gift. The customization feature adds a special touch. We highly recommend this product, and should another wedding invitation arise, we will certainly be purchasing a third!
