Magic happens when metal meets memory and fire becomes the brush. Daniel & Frances Hedblom's create their copper wall art without a single drop of paint—only heat, pressure, and patience. The process, called flame painting, uses torch fire to coax vibrant, shifting colors from raw copper. No chemicals, no shortcuts. Just the alchemy of heat and hand. Inspired by the artists’ time along Lake Superior’s north shore, it captures the quiet beauty of both beginnings and endings. Each one is a unique moment frozen in color—warm, fluid, and impossible to replicate.

Choose from two stunning designs—each is mounted on a curved, custom wood frame that gives the piece dimensional presence on your wall.
The colors will appear to move and change when placed under lights or in the sun.
Each piece is sealed with UV-protective finish. Will not change colors or patina over time.
Measures 8"W x 17"H.
Requires no care other than light dusting with a soft cloth. Remove fingerprints with any glass cleaning product.
Handmade in Minnesota.

Daniel and Frances Hedblom left careers in carpentry and healthcare to pursue their shared creative calling, building a full-time copper art studio rooted in craftsmanship and nature. Inspired by the landscapes of northern Minnesota and national parks, they design and handcraft each piece together, shaping, hammering, and using flame to draw out vibrant, natural color from the copper itself. Their shop, located just steps from their home in Rochester, MN, is a family-run space filled with artistry, purpose, and a passion for nature-inspired design. Every creation reflects their love for the outdoors and commitment to quality.

Items that are made to order or oversized can't be sent in a Gift Bag. Instead, you can include your Gift Message on the shipment's packing slip.
