What Makes Lumadrop Endless Art Kit Uncommon

A luminous vision becomes the beginning of an entirely new way to make art. Inspired by his years-long pursuit of glowing, illusion-filled dimensional compositions, artist Hunt Rettig developed this immersive kit that invites creators to experiment with light, translucency, color, and perspective in ways that feel equal parts artistic process and visual magic. Reflective ribbons and layered color sheets create forms that seem to float, glow, and subtly transform as the viewing angle changes. The finished result feels sophisticated enough for gallery walls, yet endlessly renewable whenever inspiration strikes again.

  • Uses reflective ribbons and translucent color sheets to create dimensional artwork that appears to glow and shift in color.
  • Includes an 8" x 8" frame, 10+ stacking color sheets, reflective ribbons, chalkboard paint, accessories, and instructional materials.
  • Layered materials create new hues, gradients, and visual effects as colors overlap.
  • Compositions change depending on lighting, viewing angle, and choice of white or black backgrounds.
  • Designed for repeated use, allowing creators to erase, redesign, and experiment endlessly.
  • Frame can be displayed standing or hung on a wall.
  • Quick start guide and online instructional videos make the process approachable for a wide range of experience levels.
  • Made in China.

Hunt Rettig

Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, Hunt Rettig spent more than 35 years in Aspen, Colorado, where his artistic career took shape through experimentation, curiosity, and an unforgettable dream. More than two decades ago, Hunt woke with a vivid vision of glowing, illusion-filled artwork and became determined to recreate it, transforming his bedroom into a makeshift studio while he reverse engineered the effect through trial and error. Those early mixed-media explorations evolved into his signature style, with works now collected around the world. Today, Hunt shares that creative process through an interactive art kit designed to spark imagination and endless experimentation.

Love this for a gift

By far best gift I've ever bought for a friend and myself. Great activity and also a piece of art you can have in your house forever that is unique and beautiful. Easy to assemble, but also challenging enough where it's still hard interesting. 10/10

The holidays are about the people at the table, and the right gift makes that easier to say out loud. Kits make good gifts because the fun starts once the wrapping comes off. Our selection of unique Christmas gifts has plenty more worth considering.

Most lists split fairly neatly by recipient, which makes them quicker to work through. See our gifts for women and our gifts for men for everyone still unaccounted for.
