As a teenager in Phoenix, Allison worked as a barista in local cafes. She loved serving coffee, and drinking it, too, but not the headaches and jitters that often followed. She got the idea to make coffee-style beverages from tea and began pedaling a tea cart around Phoenix, handing out free samples. Her tea was a hit, and she opened her own shop. "I love working with food and drinks," Allison says. "It's really challenging to try to come up with something new using basic, everyday ingredients."

No, you can choose to add it to any drink you'd like! You can use the included recipes to make a Birthday Latte, Confetti Birthday Martini, or a Chocolate Birthday Martini as inspiration and add some of the Birthday Sprinkles for an extra-special topping.
