Tea virtuoso Scout Urling obsesses over every detail of her teas. Her deep knowledge of botanicals and unerring sense of taste enable her to blend the finest teas in original combinations. She sources only organic teas, cultivated with care and heirloom traditions in small tea gardens around the world.

Four beautiful tins of tea are each filled with six perfectly portioned, biodegradable pyramidal tea bags (their shape creates room for maximum flavor extraction of each tea).

This wake-up set combines two classic morning teas (Irish and English Breakfast) and two original blends of Scout's invention. Handmade in Bellingham, Washington.

ANCIENT SUNRISE: A rare black tea blended with leaves from tea plants as old as 2,000 years. A blend of organic Himalayan and Chinese black tea, including leaves from protected strands of ancient tea plants.
ENGLISH BREAKFAST: A timeless, comforting classic—round, floral, and subtle fruity notes with a warm, earthy, smoky finish. A blend of organic black teas.
IRISH BREAKFAST: Citrusy top notes and rich, malty undertones ending in a rounded hearty sweetness. A blend of organic black teas.
LAVENDER ORANGE GREY: Organic black tea leaves delicately scented with pure bergamot and enhanced with garden lavender and sweet orange. 100% organic.

“Our herbal teas are inspired by years of learning about plants and how they can be a part of our lives and wellness.”

Scout Urling graduated with a Bachelor of Science in pre-medicine, and then began studying herbs, via traveling, apprenticeships, and independent research. She started making tea blends as a hobby. When demand for them snowballed, she decided to turn her teas into a real business. Having worked on local organic farms throughout her college career, it was natural to partner with those farmers to source her ingredients. Her search for the freshest, highest quality botanicals led her to cultivate similar relationships with small tea gardens and growers around the world, enabling her to begin offering caffeinated teas and chocolate as well as her original herbal teas.

Enjoyed everyday

I gifted this set to my husband for Christmas, and he loves them! He has been pleased with all four of these, and three of them he would buy again. I'll be looking to purchase from this brand again. As the gifter, I was a little disappointed that the tins are wrapped in a paper label.

Such a pretty gift set!

My mother in law is a tea enthusiast (as am I) and this is the latest gift I am giving her for Mothers' Day. She has always loved the tea gifts from UG and I expect her to be just as pleased with this one. It comes in a pretty box in pretty canisters! Perfect for gift-giving! Although I wouldn't mind one myself!

what to get the aunt who has everything?

do you have that aunt who is a great gift giver but who also needs (and wants) nothing? uncommon goods is great for those folks because you can always find something for everyone. her birthday was in march and she lives in co where it can be pretty cold or warming to spring - who knows each year? this year, she got a ton of snow on her birthday and she was thrilled to have this simple birthday treat to keep her warm while she was snowbound!

A perfect gift

Good tea but not worth the price

Packaging is really cute and all the teas taste good. They aren't that strong though and don't seem high quality for the price.
