Not good for a matcha lover

I am a regular matcha drinker and was gifted this for Christmas. The blends sound great and like they'd make pretty colors. However, they are definitely using a very low quality matcha to start with and little consideration was given to how the bright colors of some of these add ins will mix with green... overall very muted and swampy colors. When I brew it, I can't get the matcha to hold foam at all, it's just watery. Also was disappointed that one of the blends doesn't even have matcha in it. Overall do not recommend. Bad for people that know and love matcha and would be a bad introduction to matcha for someone new.

I have the matcha tea blends from New Haven Tea but I was just diagnosed with diabetes and need to know if there is any sugar in the powdered matcha and how much. Thank you.

The Matcha Teas do not have any added sugar or sweeteners. Two of the matcha tea blends do have natural fruit sugar. The Açaí Matcha has 1 gram of sugar in the entire 11 gram container. The Mango Matcha has 4 grams of sugar in the 11 gram container. A typical cup of Matcha Tea is made with 1/2 to 1 gram of the tea powder. The other 5 tea flavors do not have any sugars either added or naturally occurring.
