I would buy this product for anyone who loves tea

Yes! it is BPA-free and food safe. Do not Microwave, Freeze, or sit on a hot surface. Not dishwasher safe.

Can you drink the tea directly from the bottle thru the LID still on or do you have to unscrew/open the top/lid to drink from it?

Hi there! That's a great idea, however, the tea needs to be poured into a different container to drink it.

You'd need to add hot water to this container if you'd like to steep loose tea or tea bags. A tea bag can also be placed in the strainer compartment.
