What Makes It Uncommon

For brilliant color and radiant beauty, Dan Neff's handblown glass flowers hold their own against the real thing—and they never fade.

  • Each of the colors represents a meaningful attribute: love, strength, admiration, wisdom, gratitude, or joy. Choose the one you think is most relevant for your recipient—or just pick your favorite color.
  • Each flower's curly glass stem allows it to sit on a table or mantel as a sculpture or be added to a vase.
  • Length: about 10".
  • Handmade in Minnesota and Rhode Island.

Dan Neff grew up in Minnesota's Iron Range, where he still lives today. At 11, he began working for his grandfather, a stone mason, which fostered "a deep appreciation for skilled craftsmanship." He took his first glassblowing class at 17. "I was hooked," he says. Eventually, Dan gave up "virtually all of my other passions" to dedicate "every spare moment... to the mastery of glass." He's inspired by "the water and the changing seasons" and strives to "emulate the palette of the outdoors" in glass.

Forever flowers

These flowers are so pretty, and I love that each variety of flower have different meanings. They are extremely well made, and I personally would rather get one of these than a real bouquet of flowers. The uniqueness of blown glass lets you know that no one will have the exact same one as you. I used them as thank you gifts for people who helped me plan an event. Now I want to buy them for myself.

Beautiful and larger than I expected

love this, it's fabulous and larger than I expected. About the size of my 20oz coffee tumbler (sorry, only thing right in front of me). So check the dimensions if size is a thing. I love that it's that large.

Unique Perfection

It is as good, if not better than I had hoped for. They are absolutely beautiful. I hope they stay in the catalog as I'd like to use these as future thank you gifts. I really like the meanings each of them has but do wish the card that came with, that describes this, was a little bigger, I almost missed it in the box.

I would not buy this again.

The item quality was super. However when you purchase an item with the intention of getting a specific color, you expect that color to show up. I purchased admiration, and it is supposed to be a YELLOW flower. I got orange. Lesson learned, unless you can pick the color, don't buy this - unless you love all colors.

Buyer Beware For Color and Stem Shape

I ordered this close to my mom's birthday and didn't open it until day of to package it in a pretty box and such. When I opened the box it came in, I was crestfallen. I ordered the yellow one cuz her favorite color is yellow.. ..and the flower is mostly orange. There's hints of yellow in a few places, but even my friend agreed this flower is heckin' orange. The card that came with it said it was the "admiration" yellow flower, but in no way is this the bright cheery yellow in the pics at all. And that big loop in the stem? Yeah, no, it's a vague little spiral, not the big loop as shown. Now I have to present her this gift *today* and tell her that someone somewhere is confused as to what yellow is, or could be some kinda colorblind. I'm super disappointed and am just gonna hope she still likes it.

Longer lasting compared to real flowers

I purchased the red Love flower as a gift for my wife. She enjoys flowers and I thought this a nice way to have a constant reminder of my love along with a flower to enjoy that won't wilt. The piece is lovely and very detailed. It was securely shipped and delivered on time.
