What Makes It Uncommon

Into the Labyrinth

Come across a Jean Claude Constantin puzzle and you might think, "Sure don't make them like they used to." But that's the thing: Jean Claude does. Each of these mazes is beautifully laser cut, and your objective is to move the ball through tiers, corridors, gears, and more until it finally "escapes." Whether they're easier (Flower Maze), challenging (Double Trouble), or downright difficult (Hidden Corridor, Star Path, and Waiter's Tray), Jean Claude's designs always feature intricate mechanics that make them truly unique and a joy to own. Made in China.

Great gift. Not just a toy!

This is the third (Flower Maze) in the series that I have bought as presents for one of my grown sons. He hangs them on the wall as decorations when he is not fidgeting with them. The wood they are made of actually matches his book cases and desk.

Looks great sitting out as a teaser, but challenging too!

Great quality, and loved by my best friend who lives to solve challenging puzzles!

Great gift for my big brother

My brother and I have fond memories of our aunt, who always made sure we had some sort of puzzle at Christmas. They were most often brainteasers, so when I saw these in the catalog I rejoiced at the opportunity to send him a "good memory" gift

Fantastic Puzzle

My husband usually breezes through these logic puzzles in less than an hour and it always frustrates me so much. The Waiter's Tray ended up taking over 3 days for him to solve. Finally a puzzle that really challenged him. I'm looking forward to adding more of the Constantin puzzles to his collection

Bought as a gift

I bought this item as a gift for a family member who enjoys puzzles and riddles. He found it quite challenging, and it is beautiful to look at. I would recommend it for anyone who enjoys brain teasers.

Challenging but Satisfying

This puzzle is an excellent gift! #sweepstakes

Diabolical puzzle for people who love a challenge

Well made. Tricky and challenging.

Excellent Brainteasers

In the words of my son "This was a good one." And we are sharing the 3 among them as each finishes theirs.

There are images of 3 puzzles on the page and a choice of 4 puzzles. Is the square puzzle depicted the Waiter's Tray or the Hidden Corridor?

Verified reply from Amy

Hi there! It is the Hidden Corridor. Also, as you select each puzzle in the drop down menu, it will show you an individual picture of that exact puzzle. So that's where you'll be able to see the Waiter's Tray, which is not featured in the group photo.

Which puzzle is the most difficult?

Verified reply from Amy

Hi Lauren! Hidden Corridor and Waiter's Tray are categorized as the most difficult.

Can you rank these puzzles from the easiest to the hardest? Looking for the hardest for my father the engineer and a easier one for a elementary student.

Verified reply from Leslie

Each puzzle has the same level of difficulty, with a rating of 3 out of 5 stars.

Do any instructions come with Constantin Brainteasers?

Verified reply from Joanne

The Puzzles do not contain instructions on how to solve the puzzle. They give a brief description of the objective of each puzzle

what is the difficulty of the Waiter's Tray versus Hidden Corridor or Double Trouble?

Verified reply from Joanne

The Flower Maze is not too difficult. Double Trouble and Waiter's Tray would be next. Hidden Corridor is intended to be the most difficult. We've heard from customers that it takes about an hour to complete (although one person said they finished in fifteen minutes).

Which is the hardest, Hidden Corridor or Waiters Tray? And can you briefly explain what's the difference in difficulty?

Verified reply from Leslie

Each puzzle has the same level of difficulty, with a rating of 3 out of 5 stars.

Is there a recommended age for these?
