What Makes It Uncommon

Not everyone has a backyard to plant in, so potter Maggy Ames created a bright and cheery garden set that fits right on your windowsill. The trio of pots is handmade and hand-painted with different-colored flowers, and includes a tray to catch water or dirt. Grow cooking herbs, small vegetables, or some colorful flowers, all in the comfort of your own space.

Each set includes 3 pots (one of each color) and 1 tray.
Pots measure 3"H x 3" dia. Tray measures 12"L x 3"W.

Pottery is a second life chapter for Maggy Ames. At Skidmore College, she watched enviously as classmates immersed themselves in clay. She completed law school, and practiced in New York City for 35 years, representing people with developmental disabilities. Maggy kept a pottery studio on the side, her haven of peace and quiet, and eventually became a full-time potter. She and her partners operate one of the few remaining working clay studios in Manhattan.
