Husband Loves This Stuff!
My husband is one of those cast iron people. You know, has to be washed a certain way, seasoned a certain way, stored a certain way, etc. I got him this as a stocking stuffer for Xmas. He loved it! Used it all up on all his cast iron so we bought some more. He swears by this stuff!

Great gift! works well, nice formulation, good price.
I got this for my husband and it is a great formulation, oils up and scrubs the cast iron at the same time. I leave it on while the pan is not in use and rinse before using again. My husband liked it but urged me not to buy it again, he is very old school and cheap. I bought very coarse salt and mixed in olive oil, which worked but honestly the price is not that much different from making it at home and I believe the oil and salt mixture of this product is better, salt stays coarse/does not melt. My dream wedding gift is to get a couple a cast iron pan and this gift set. Nothing beats cast iron.

Best cast iron cleaner ever!
I used to love using my cast iron pan but having to clean it kept me from using it often. Now with cast iron conditioner it only takes a couple of minutes! Best part is you don't need to re-season the pan! Just corn and gently heat the pan and you're done! Best purchase ever!!!!

Cast Iron Conditioning Scrub
I just received this item in the past week and used it once. For me it was so much easier to clean my cast iron. Just rinse and place on heat until it smokes a little bit and you're done. I didn't get that smelly aftertaste from using my oil. That was a huge advantage for me.

Cast Iron Maintenane Hack
This cast-iron conditioning scrub is the cleaning hack I didn't know I needed. A quick scrub with the salt concoction gets the pan clean without damaging the seasoning, and then heating it on the stovetop to dry the pan and keep it oiled. Cleaning went from dreaded to easy, and my pans are benefiting from the routine. Can't recommend highly enough.

Finally, something to clear my cast iron with!
Haven't actually used it yet but read the instructions and looking forward to seeing how it works. I usually just scrub my cast iron with salt and water but this will condition as well as clean without drying it out like the salt does.

Excellent Gift!
I received this as a gift from my wife and I LOVE it. I usually dump sea salt in my pan with a little oil, if there isn't already some in it, to clean it out. The grain size on this salt is very large, the instructions are clear, and I've never had my pan in such good shape. It's easy to use, cleans well, and is safe for the pan. Highly recommend.

Is this product shelf stable or do I need to keep it in the refrigerator?
Verified reply from Itamar
Great question! The Cast Iron Conditioning Scrub is made from food-safe oils and is shelf stable. Placing the container in refrigeration may cause the oils to split, crack, or become inactive in their original properties :^)

I am new to cast iron, do you use this with a brush? Rag? Sponge? Fingers? Thanks!
Verified reply from Cassandra
Great question! Wash your cast iron cookware by hand. You can use a small amount of soap. If needed, use a pan scraper for stuck on food. Dry promptly and thoroughly with a lint-free cloth or paper towel. If you notice a little black residue on your towel, it's just seasoning and is perfectly normal. Oil. Rub a very light layer of cooking oil or Seasoning Spray onto the surface of your cookware

Will this help remove rust from cast iron pan too?
Verified reply from Kathleen
This product will help prevent your cast iron from rusting, but it does not remove existing rust.
