Juliet Meeks is a watercolor artist based in her hometown of New Orleans. Her artistic and entrepreneurial career began in high school when she started sewing and selling her handmade clothes at local art markets. Juliet's journey has taken various turns since then, from making handmade jewelry with vintage postage stamps to the watercolor illustrations and patterns she produces today. She enjoys painting florals because of their organic shapes and opportunity as an avenue for color exploration. Most days, you'll find Juliet in her studio with her dog Roxy, dreaming up new pattern ideas, teaching classes for other artists, and sharing her process along the way.

Beautiful pants

I bought these pants hoping to use them as pajama pants. They feel a touch too fancy for that, or perhaps too wide, but we'll see as we move into fall, or perhaps as I wash them. I ordered the S/M, and as I'm typically a size 4 in pants, these are a little looser on me than I like. But the pattern is beautiful, exactly as shown in the pictures. I plan on enjoying them!

Beautiful, flowy, well-made comfort wear

I absolutely love these very wide and flowy lounge pants. They have shallow pockets and a drawstring, plus ample stretch in the waist. I love how lightweight and breathable they are, so I can wear them even in our hot summers. The little bag to put them in is perfect for travel and gifting. I am 5'8" and 155 lbs (usually a size 6), and the S/M fit me absolutely perfectly. The length is just right - but if you need extra length or you are curvy, size up.

Beautiful but shorter than I wanted

Not for tall ladies

These pants are really very pretty. The colors are vibrant, the material is of good quality, and the pants come in a matching fabric bag. Unfortunately, they are not made for curvaceous, long-legged women. Even as cropped pants, with a scant 23" inseam, these are very awkward looking.

How deep are the pockets? Can they hold a cell phone? Is the material stretchy?

Yes! You can fit a cell phone in the pockets. The waist is elastic but the fabric is not. The material is a breezy thin TENCEL, a botanic fiber found in nature. It's harvested from Eucalyptus trees and produced through a closed loop manufacturing process, which means it's eco-friendly and safe for the environment!

Hi! The 17-inch measurement is for the front of the pant, the circumference would be double that, and measure 34 inches.

I saw the hip measurements listed as 25" wide, is that a mistype?

The hip measurement is the width of the front of the pants at the hip, you would double that to get the measurement all the way around.

Hi! These are adult lounge pants. The waist and hip measurements are taken across the front of the pants to find the circumference you would double the number provided for the waist measurements. S/M: Waist- 14 5/8", Hip- 22", Inseam- 25", Leg Opening- 25". L/XL: Waist- 17", Hip- 25 1/2", Inseam- 25", Leg Opening- 25. The waist measurements may seem small due to the elastic waist.
