Theo Keller is a glass artist based in Pittsburgh, where he works in a studio with windows overlooking a valley. Born in Maine and trained in Asheville, North Carolina, Theo first explored photography and clay before discovering glassblowing: "The first time I tried glass, I was hooked." He uses flameworking techniques to sculpt every piece by hand, drawing inspiration from industrial design and the materials themselves. Known for his playful ornaments, Theo takes pride in creating work that brings a smile and a touch of whimsy to everyday spaces.
