Amy and Jim Bishop are a husband-and-wife ceramics team based in North Carolina, where they create thoughtfully crafted pottery inspired by the natural beauty of their surroundings. Amy, with a background in studio arts, and Jim, a classically trained chef, found their shared creative rhythm in clay. Amy throws and trims each piece, while Jim handles glazing and firing, together crafting work that's as functional as it is soulful. Their rustic stoneware is made in a garage-turned-studio, where even their two sons and dogs pitch in. With a deep love for process and community, they aim to create pieces that bring comfort, beauty, and a bit of everyday joy to the table.
