Looks great but doesn't work

I was very disappointed. Nicely constructed, but didn't work at all. Not even a tiny bit. Putting my iPhone Air didn't amplify the sound at all.

Opening to small.

My dad loved this!

I got this as a Christmas gift for my dad. He is not good with technology and also isn't supposed to use Bluetooth due to his pacemaker. This speaker is perfect. He doesn't need to charge anything (except his phone) and it's very simple! No Bluetooth required :)
