Illustrator and surface pattern designer Lizzie Lees got her creative start early in life. "I have always been very creative and grew up with artistic parents; we were always drawing and making things as kids," she explains. Raised in Kent, England, she went on to study surface pattern at Staffordshire University. Today, her canvas extends to all sorts of household items. With a style that's colorful and exuberant, she creates patterns for everything from bed linens to lampshades.

This is a made-to-order item that ships directly from the maker. You will receive a proof within 1-2 business days from our custom order team. At that time, you can request a revision or approve the proof. If we do not receive a response within 7 days, your proof will automatically be approved and your order will be put into production. An expected ship date for your item will be provided after proof approval. This item typically ships 3 weeks after proof approval.

Items that are made to order or oversized can't be sent in a Gift Box. Awesome Service

I ordered this glass for my mom but was unsure of the personalization. When the proof came I needed to change things. But it wasn't a problem. They quickly made adjustments and a new proof was sent. It's not perfect, because you just can't get everyone exactly with the limited options. None the less, it is great. I know she will love it.

In the display there is a beard option, but not when you go to design the mug. How can I add a beard to my guy?

Thanks for your question! The beard option is available. Keep clicking through all the options for the male and you'll see it when you get to the facial hair section. The sections go: The person's head, if the person has glasses, then facial hair.
