Carley Sheehy wondered the same thing, and created this DIY kit which includes everything you'll need to create these Japanese delights that are as fun to make as they are to eat. Get started with the popular sushi roll recipes included, or add a medley of your own ingredients to construct a custom-made roll that's jam-packed with your favorite flavors. In addition to a rolling mat, easy-to-follow instructions, and helpful drink pairings, the kit also comes with the base ingredients for four servings of sushi, including sushi rice, rice vinegar powder, nori—the special seaweed used to bind rolls—sesame seeds and spicy wasabi powder—just add your favorite fillings! Assembled in California.

So much fun!!

I bought this for my boyfriend for his bday. We made half of it tonight (4 rolls total). This was awesome!! The directions were easy to follow and all of the ingredients (except for your fillings) are included, even the rice! He loved this for a gift and we'd definitely buy again. I'm glad we only did half tonight.

Does the rice vinegar powder need to be mixed with a liquid before using?

Yes! The kit includes 21.2 oz. of sushi rice, 1.9 oz. of rice vinegar, 0.4 oz. of nori, 0.5 oz. of sesame seeds, 0.1 oz. of wasabi powder and 1.4 oz. of gluten-free soy sauce.

Are the adorable soy sauce fish included? Or is the soy sauce just in regular packets? This kit is a great idea!
