Alexandra Paliwoda expresses her love of the great outdoors with her hand-forged ironwork. Her business began in the wilds of Wrangell-St. Elias, Alaska, a remote location where Alexandra saw steel as the medium most similar to the rugged, yet generous nature of that truly untamed place. Now at home in Montana, her blacksmith shop is nestled in the mountains and surrounded by aspen and pine trees, wildflowers, and a menagerie of wildlife. Quality of life and quality of goods are paramount to Alexandra. She hopes through her art to share timeless beauty in pieces that she hand forges using traditional and modern techniques.

Looks great, feels good in the hand, excellent knife!
Bought this gift for myself and a few friends. It looks great in the stand on my kitchen counter. It makes a great quick chopping tool when you don't need to be precise about slicing consistently. It also and more importantly has become my most used knife during camping trips.

Impressive craftsmanship and a neat conversation piece! I gave this as a gift to our family cook, and he loved it! Surprise and delight!
I had bought one of these knives for my nephew, but he never gave me any feedback about it. Nonetheless, it has intrigued me for a long time, so I finally decided to get one for myself. WOW! I love the feel of it. It's far easier to maneuver through different aspects of food prep - not just the cutting itself, but pushing items aside, scraping up any loose waste and disposing of it (the size of the blade collects far more than the average knife!), and so on. I'm still learning about it, but I would give it as a gift again and again!

I got this for my mom's birthday, and was so excited for it to come! This gorgeous hand forged knife is a treat for the eyes, and a handy edition to your kitchen! Mom has already used it a few times since her birthday in early May, and says it is very nice!
