Each necklace comes on a handmade paper card that is made in Nepal in an environmentally friendly process. Not only can you recycle it, you can compost it or even plant it and watch flowers bloom! The seeds will grow in North America in partial shade, and include Snapdragon, Petunia, Daisy, Thyme, Poppy, Foxglove, Maiden Pinks, and Chamomile. Cover the paper in 1/8" of soil and keep moist until established.

Exactly what I hoped for
The necklace is exactly as pictured and can be dressed up or down. The artist did a lovely custom adjustment for me. Delighted and would buy again.

Loved it until it broke :(
I loved this necklace! Unfortunately the chain broke only a couple of weeks after I bought it and I can't find anyone who can repair it. Be careful--it is very fragile!

Perfect gift for Mom
I ordered this for a friend of mine whose second and last child had left for school. The quality was amazing and the necklace was absolutely perfect. It is adorable! The only reason I gave it four stars is because the connection of the necklace to a Mom and the Moonstones being her seedlings (children) isn't included in the packaging materials nor the fact that you can actually plant the card the necklace comes on.

What makes this Mother's Wish Dandelion Necklace special compared to other mom jewelry?
This isn't your typical mom necklace! The sterling silver pendant features an etched dandelion design with moonstone 'seeds' representing each of your children. It's like carrying your hopes and dreams for your kids close to your heart. Plus, the biodegradable paper card it comes on contains actual flower seeds you can plant - talk about a gift that keeps giving!
What are the necklace dimensions and materials?
The pendant measures 5/8 inch in diameter and features 2mm moonstone accents on an 18-inch chain. It's crafted from recycled sterling silver and genuine moonstone. The thoughtful sizing makes it perfect for everyday wear while still making a meaningful statement.
Can I plant the seed paper that comes with the necklace?
Absolutely! The handmade paper card from Nepal contains seeds for 15 different flowers including snapdragons, petunias, daisies, thyme, poppy, foxglove, maiden pinks, and chamomile. Just cover it with 1/8 inch of soil in partial shade, keep it moist, and watch your flower garden bloom. It's completely biodegradable and compostable too.
Is this necklace suitable for a baby shower gift?
It's perfect for baby showers! The dandelion symbolism of hopes and dreams floating out into the world is especially meaningful for new or expecting mothers. The moonstone seeds can represent the new baby (or babies) she's welcoming, making it a thoughtful way to celebrate this special milestone in her journey.
How should I care for this sterling silver and moonstone necklace?
Keep it looking beautiful with simple care - just use a jewelry-safe polishing cloth to gently remove any tarnish or dirt from both the pendant and chain. The recycled sterling silver and moonstone are durable materials that will maintain their elegance with this easy maintenance routine.
