Britta Ambauen likes to infuse the ideas she contemplates most into her jewelry, and hopes her pieces will help remind others of their own thoughts and wishes. Utilizing a wide variety of materials and techniques, including wire wrapping, bezel setting, and etching, her eclectic accessories balance simplicity and intricacy, sophistication and youthfulness.
Much of Britta's work is inspired by the strong female figures in her life.

Care
Gently rub the silver component with a jewelry polishing cloth to remove tarnish and dirt. For extra cleaning power, soak in a jewelry cleaning solution.

Beautiful but not exactly what I expected
The design is wonderful. It is exactly what I expected with the exception of the birth stone. It appears to be a piece of dull plastic that does not luster much at all. I am not sure that more shiny piece of plastic would be better though either. I was under the impression I would be receiving a real stone of some sort. For the price I knew it wouldn't be a real ruby. But you may want to consider a different material for the stone (if possible). Overall it is beautiful from a distance. Up close the tree design is wonderful. But the "ruby" leave much to be desired.

Greetings! Our Motherhood Tree of Life is made with real stones, not plastic. For January, although as pretty as a Ruby, the Garnet is the true birthstone.

Thanks for your question. The charm doesn't close shut. Though the layers hang together and appear to be shut, they are separate pieces, which allows the gems and the inscription ("from deepest roots tallest branches grow) to be visible.

The birthstones I need are March, April, and June. From the picture you have online of the stones, the 3 of those look almost identical with just a slight variation in shade. I just want to make sure those colors are true that are on the online picture. I may want to mix it up and add a different color instead of one of three birthstones then if they are indeed almost the same as pictured.

Hello, The picture list of the birthstones shows moonstone for June. But when I go to put it in my cart, it lists Alexandrite. Do you know which it is? Also, can you choose the order in which the stones are presented (i.e. I would like the May stone to be in the middle of the 2 June stones). Thanks!
