Michelle was born and raised in Kauai, Hawaii, and Yacine hails from Montreal, Quebec. The two met while working at a resort where Michelle was a dance teacher and Yacine suddenly became very interested in dance. "We started our game-design career by opening an escape room in Hawaii," the couple explain, "but we wanted to share our games with more people." Today, Yacine and Michelle continue to design immersive, artificial intelligence-powered games that can be mailed and played at home.

I highly recommend this mystery fun!

I got this as a gift for my husband and son. My son is 6, so I was a little worried that this may be above his head. I'm so glad I was wrong! This was a perfect family activity! It was so much fun!! The interactive nature of the game (with searching for things on the web, text messages, and clues) was so spectacular. It made you feel like you were really working with the team on the ground solving a real mystery! My son was able to keep up and he said it felt so real and loved that it felt like we were really on a mission. It took us a few hours to complete it, but we really wanted to do it together as a family and not use too many hints or guessing. There was a cool bonus surprise at the end too. I highly recommend getting this, especially if you like escape rooms, mysteries, detective stories, or pirates. Enjoy!

A dream gift for a want to be sleuth

My daughter in law and son are so into true crime and detective shows and work. They are both 28 years old and sometimes it is hard to buy for their age and especially when they buy everything they want and need. They live very minimalist so experience is key. This is a great gift and not too easy. Fun and great for couples!

Such a fun game night item!

Got this for my puzzle-loving husband for Christmas and we had an absolute blast going through the steps and finding the treasure. Even for skilled escape roomers, this will take about 2 hours. There's even interactive music with it, which is so fun! I am already looking at buying other kits from this series. #sweepstakes
