Whether it’s where you grew up or set down roots after a move, your home state will always hold a special place in your heart. Inspired by the beauty of classic atlases, Kelly Mitchell transforms vintage state maps into bold, puzzle-like coaster sets that nestle within a cork trivet.

  • Every set comes with four 4.25 x 4.25 coasters, printed with Kelly’s artwork. Use them individually or within the cork tray to act as a trivet for pots and pans.
  • Choose from 10 different states.
  • Made in China. Decorated in New Hampshire.

Kelly Mitchell never thought of herself as the artist type. A bibliophile with a love for classic literature, her treasure hunts through dusty bookshelves led to her discovery of vintage atlases. She began creating as a way to fill her home with art that was special to her, and a part-time hobby turned into a business as she gifted her pieces, then began selling them at local craft fairs. Today she works from her home studio in New Hampshire, where she designs, prints, and packs all her items.
