Jeremy Noet threw his first pot in high school and fell in love with clay After studying with several noted potters he launched into pottery full time in 1997 The next year he moved from Alaska to Bellingham WA and joined an artist studio collective He ran clay up and down the steep fire escape to the kiln behind the building for 14 years?while living on a sailboat with his wife and eventual first child After having a second child they moved into a house with a studio in the back yard.

Finally Found
I have been looking for a long time for a holder for my kitchen Dobie Pad that would keep the pad clean and dry. I ordered the blue sponge holder the minute I saw it on Uncommon's website. A perfect solution!
When I saw this adorable piece of pottery with a practical purpose I bought it immediately! I have a habit of dropping my scrubbing sponge into my sudsy sink water after each use. Then I have to search through the suds to find it again only moments later. With this beautiful pottery holder, I never have to search again for my sponge. I always know where I can find it. Thus my dishwashing chore has become easier and less frustrating. Who doesn't want that?

A nice little addition to the kitchen
#sweepstakes Fits nicely against the backsplash. Perfect size for a standard sponge. I particularly like that it is very stable (bottom-heavy) with a bottom that doesn;t slide aroud on the granite countertop.

Is there a drainage hole in the bottom of the sponge holder? How wide is the sponge holder? I have William Sonoma "pop up" sponges, & they are wider than regular sponges. 2 1/4" wide. Will it fit?
