What Makes It Uncommon

Pour It On

Good olive oil is a gastronomic experience. Make it an aesthetic one too, with Jeremy Noet's wheel-thrown cruet glazed in gorgeous, lush layers of color. The bottoms are smoothed out with a diamond sander to minimize scratching surfaces (and because it’s nice to touch). The flare at the top acts as a natural funnel for easy filling—not only with oil, but with salad dressing, soy sauce, maple syrup…whatever you need to pour easy and look pretty. Choose Deepwater Blue or Patina Purple. Handmade in Washington.

Jeremy Noet threw his first pot in high school and fell in love with clay After studying with several noted potters he launched into pottery full time in 1997 The next year he moved from Alaska to Bellingham WA and joined an artist studio collective He ran clay up and down the steep fire escape to the kiln behind the building for 14 years?while living on a sailboat with his wife and eventual first child After having a second child they moved into a house with a studio in the back yard.

Not perfect

The glaze is beautiful but the opening feels a little too wide for the size of the stopper/spout. Concerned about not being able to achieve a tight seal. So far okay but have to be *very* careful about pressing down hard to prevent the stopper from coming out.

Exactly as pictured and pours great!

The container was very well made and I can tell will last years. I really liked the shine of the glaze and thought it was even prettier than in the photo. I only bought one, but could see the two being used to decorate a table if filled with oil and vinegar for salad dressings. 100% recomend. #sweepstakes
