What Makes These Ceramic Whiskey Tumblers Uncommon

Ceramic might not be the first material that comes to mind for drinking whiskey—but that’s exactly what makes Brent Gillentine's hand-thrown tumblers so striking. Pairing a base of raw clay with a silky-smooth upper glazing, they're as appealing to the senses as a well-balanced old fashioned. Designed for spirits but just as graceful for water, wine, or even your morning brew, these tactile beauties bring handcrafted elegance to anything you like to sip.

  • Set of 2 handcrafted ceramic tumblers, each holding 10 oz.
  • Each tumbler measures 3.5" dia. x 3.5"H.
  • Microwave- and dishwasher-safe.
  • Handmade in New York.

Brent Gillentine

Brent Gillentine spent two decades in IT before making a full-time leap into ceramics, a craft he's been drawn to since childhood. After years of taking classes, apprenticing, and raising a family, he moved from Austin to New York City and now creates from a shared studio space in Manhattan. Brent is inspired by everyday objects and aims to craft pieces that people want to use and display daily. His work has traveled far thanks to word of mouth, from coworker gift chains to pieces proudly displayed in people's homes. When he's not at the wheel, Brent enjoys watching soccer, traveling with his wife, Andi, and staying connected to his two grown-up kids who live on the West Coast.
