Each one is carved from bamboo and painted with care (and comes with its own nametag!), making a perfect gift for green thumbs, animal-lovers, or anyone who knows "too darn cute" when they see it. Handmade in Indonesia on the island of Java.

Theyre darling but pictures are misleading

I bought these with the intention of putting them in a fairy garden of sorts in one of my large plants. I was under the impression the penguins looked different directions because the product images on the site show that the penguins are looking different ways. I bought one in the spotted wellies and one in the snowflake wellies thinking they were different items but they both face the same way. I probably would have only ordered one if I had known they were essentially identical products just different colored wellies.

Cute, but smaller than I thought

Super cute and so fun that each came with a name tag. Be aware that these are only about 6" tall. Both my husband and I made the assumption that they were bigger.

Spotted boots are not sage green, as pictured.

Instead, they are more a baby blue color. Ordinarily this would not matter, but it was one of the points of this gift for my teen daughter so I am disappointed.

Love my penguins!

How weather proof are the wellies penguins? Do you need to do anything to preserve them?

Hello! While the photo shoot shows them in their "natural" habitat, these adorable little ducks are made from bamboo root and not designed to sustain the outdoor weather. We'd recommend they stay indoors, or at least on a covered porch or patio so they don't directly experience challenging weather conditions.
