German brothers Vincent and Leon Horst began their careers as a chemist and an aerospace engineer, respectively. But in their spare time, they experimented with a shared passion: creating gin-making kits. Fast forward a bit, and their onetime hobby is now their full-time job. Working with a small team in their office in Berlin, the duo design easy-to-use kits with wood chips, spices, and botanicals for mixology enthusiasts to craft their very own gin and whiskey.
