German brothers Vincent and Leon Horst began their careers as a chemist and an aerospace engineer, respectively. But in their spare time, they experimented with a shared passion: creating gin-making kits. Fast forward a bit, and their onetime hobby is now their full-time job. Working with a small team in their office in Berlin, the duo design easy-to-use kits with wood chips, spices, and botanicals for mixology enthusiasts to craft their very own gin and whiskey.

Fun to do but result was undrinkable

Great idea that didn't really work. Ended up with a really bitter liquor that did not resemble whisky at all. Fun to do, but nothing more than that.

Great addition to my home bar!

Usually I am not into DIY kits but I received the set as a present for my Birthday and I was so surprised by all the variations possible. It makes my Cocktail nights with friends so much more special and is a great addition to my home bar! I would totally buy it for myself next time.

What a great gift!

I brought that set for one of my friends a while ago and she was so exited to start her first Vodka infusion. We actually plan to do a tasting together so it will be a great event as well.
