I couldn't be happier with this purchase!
My husband and I were married two years ago. Second marriage for both of us, and my bedroom walls were still empty! I had never really bought nice pieces of art before, just picked up things from retail stores. In two years I still couldn't decide what to put on my bedroom walls. I wanted it to be special and unique, not just a piece of mass produced art. One day, instead of automatically deleting the email from my inbox, I started browsing the products. When I came across this I got really excited and called my husband in to look at it. I knew immediately it was what I wanted. I gathered my images to send in and placed my order within 24 hours! I'm very happy with it and wouldn't change a thing. Everyone that I've shown it to loves it!

Excellent Gift
Great design, loved the personalization. Not something found in just any shop or website. Perfect for someone who you don't really know what to get them.

Can you produce a skyline of Philadelphia with the bride and grooms name?
Verified reply from Lelio
Yes, that's possible! After choosing the size you'd like, add the venue and location! You can also upload venue photos for a more accurate design.

Can you only do skylines? My daughter is getting married at the Pleasantdale chateau in west orange nj and we were thinking of that outline in the background? Also, how long does it take?

Are the images matched to photos so the people in the art resemble those who got married? Will you need a backdrop of the location for a skyline?
Verified reply from Michael T
Unfortunately the people in the art have to been represented by the templates located in the drop down list, where you choose their hair color and skin tones. You will only need to provide a picture of the skyline, recommending that your photo is 2000 pixels wide (27.75 inches) at 72dpi for best results.

How do I see what the skin tones look like? The groom is Indian. Would it be 3?
Verified reply from Valerie
The 5th thumbnail image below the large image shows the hair and skin options, so you can decide which one is best. You can also view it at this link: http://www.uncommongoods.com/images/items/43000/43029_5_1200px.jpg

I'm trying to get a Buenos Aires skyline silhouette picture from Shutterstock for you to use. If I ask them to scale it to 2000 pixels wide, what is the height (their system asks for height and width). Also, are the needed specs the same for 42x30 as it is for the 27x21?
Verified reply from Sue
When resizing a photo by width the height should change in proportion to it. The artist recommends that your photo is 2000 pixels wide (27.75 inches) at 72dpi for best results with either size options.
