What Makes It Uncommon

The bottom dab of jam. The last skosh of melted chocolate. And the heartbreak when, despite our best efforts to liberate them, they end up in the garbage, trapped inside their containers. "Lifelong peanut butter addict" Chris Herbert's PB spoon ends this tragic waste of goodness.

  • A silicone cross between a spoon and a spatula, it bends to conform to different containers.
  • Pointed tip gets into hard-to-reach ridges, a flat edge scrapes out every last bit, and a rounded spoon face for mixing (or licking).
  • Angled back for even spreading.
  • Designed in Baltimore, Maryland. Made in China.

Much like jelly, this amazing spoon also pairs well with the Peanut Butter Sampler. With six flavors packed with delicious mix-ins, you'll want to be sure to get every last morsel.

A lifelong peanut butter addict, Baltimore native Chris Herbert turned down a job in finance to follow his passions: designing, engineering, and making. His first client was himself: he wanted a custom bar. He built it in his living room, then started getting orders. A few years later, he moved his workshop from his parents' garage to a 2,400-square-foot woodworking studio.

It was while camping during the Great American Eclipse of 2017 that the idea for the PB Spoon came to him. Whittling spoons during his downtime, he realized that they all left a lot of peanut butter in the container. As a guy who eats peanut butter with two-thirds of his meals, wasting any of it pained him. "What if there was a cross between a spoon and a spatula to scoop every last bit out of the container?" he asked himself. Many prototypes later, he had the answer.

It's a winner!

I bought this as a stocking stuffer gift for my sister, a known peanut butter fanatic. She opened it in a group of family and friends. Not only did she laugh and enjoy it, but several others were interested, asking where I found it.

Get all the peanut butter!

I bought the Peanut Butter Spoon a couple of years ago for myself. In terms of spreading peanut butter, it is slightly better than a knife. But the reason I love it is the way it gets all the peanut butter off the side of the jar. Sooo satisfying! This year I bought three more as stocking stuffers for friends and family. (Side note, the instructions say to hand wash the wooden handle, but I just put the whole thing on the top rack of the dishwasher. The handle has gotten rougher as a result, but it still works just fine.) #sweepstakes

This is my third purchase!

I love this spoon!! It gets every last drop of peanut butter out of the jar, which I believe is its purpose. I don't think the intention is for you to use it to spread the peanut butter onto things. I love peanut butter, but it was nearly impossible to spatula out all the contents of a jar. Until now. On my first try after I purchased one for myself and one for a Yankee Swap, I was able to get every speck of peanut butter out of my jar! I love this and am buying a third one as a present.

Cute & useful!

I bought it to use for pasta sauce jars! What a great invention!

Not great

My husband loves peanut butter so I thought this would be a cute stocking stuffer but after he shared how much the spoon sucked I tried it and he was right- spread terribly and tore the bread even

So usable

It worked well, but not steady

WORTH IT!

My husband loves peanut butter so much that he eats it out of the jar often. He would always make messes on the counters and peanut butter is a struggle to get all off the spoon. Since using this he is not been as messy and eats all the peanut butter off of it with no problem!

More peanut butter from the jar? Sign me up!

This does exactly what you'd hope - get most every little bit of peanut butter from an almost-empty jar. I highly recommend it!

Get it all!

You can never have too many tiny spatulas.

Great Gift!

Got it for my husband and he loves it! Very handy and compact. Perfect for the peanut butter lover
