Nature inspires Sue Beatrice's designs, but it's man-made creations that really turn her gears. When she creates new heirlooms from old ("I never destroy a watch that works!," she shares), she finds herself "thinking about the lives of the people who once owned the timepieces," a process that helped her evaluate her life goals. Her products hold power over others, too: "Several people have burst into happy tears when seeing pieces designed just for them. It's an amazing feeling to know your art has touched someone's heart."

I have purchased several of these - I get compliments all the time on them. I own the fox and elephant in honor of my daughters and their favorite animals. The chain snapped (my fault) and I was worried I had lost the charms. These are going in a safe place in case I do lose them.

Beautiful, delicate necklace

I got the elephant for my sister. It's a perfect size and chain length, delicate in visual sense without actually being delicate. It looks like a quality piece. The only thing to note is that only the front has the origami design. The back is flat, which makes it seem just a little bit cheaper.
