Good concept but not the best execution

This book is definitely my kind of book, and if it was executed well - I would have for sure loved it. However, I wouldn't recommend it due to some issues with the execution. I think the writers are from England so it was sometimes difficult for me (an American) to understand some of the writing/solutions. Additionally, the clues were often times not helpful, and I would also mention that the illustrations, while cool and interesting, were sometimes a little "muddy" and hard to see well.

Great Xmas gift for my brother!

Bought this as a surprise random thing for my brother and his new family. They've only skimmed it so far but they say they love how it looks and how it's written - his wife loves reading and he likes puzzles so this was a great cost effective gift for them. Can't give it 5 stars until they finish it tho xD

The book is better quality than I expected, I got it as a gift for my boyfriend who can be picky and he LOVED it. We have had so much fun looking at all of the gorgeous art and solving the problems together. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has a no idea what to get somebody! It's a super unique gift.

Perfect Unique gift for that person who wants nothing

My daughter and I love this book. It is perfect for times when you are bored or need a distraction from reality. We find it to be challenging enough but not too challenging where we become frustrated. Love that the answers are in the back with explanations on why that is the answer so we can go back and look. My only complaint so far is that sometimes the answer isn't as clear as it should be due to details within the visuals not being clear enough. My other challenge with this book is, I can get sucked into the mysteries and struggle to put the book down, LOL.
