What Makes This Meow-ji Board Catnip Kitty Playmat Uncommon

Who knows what mysteries lurk beyond the veil? Your cat, apparently. Abbie Swisher handcrafts this delightfully spooky, catnip-filled play mat to turn feline curiosity into shared fun, complete with mysterious markings and a planchette that's always ready for a little supernatural swatting. Ancient indigo, misty teal, and ghoulish glam pink give the design Halloween-worthy spirit, but its real magic is bringing cats and their favorite humans together for playtime all year long.

  • Spirit-board-inspired design encourages interactive play between cats and their humans.
  • Attached planchette is filled with catnip and securely connected to the catnip mat so it won't disappear under the couch.
  • Durable cotton twill construction stands up to claws and energetic play, while a soft backing adds comfort.
  • Fabric is printed, sewn with batting, embroidered, and finished by hand.
  • Approximately 9" x 14".
  • Handmade in Ohio.

created by

Abbie Swisher

Growing up in small-town Ohio, Abbie Swisher was always drawn to making things. She spent years working in fashion design, sewing, and manufacturing, learning how to take an idea from concept to finished product. Those skills found an unexpected new purpose when she discovered rocks inside a toy she'd bought for her kitten. Concerned about pet safety, Abbie began designing and sewing cat toys herself, combining her production expertise with a cat lover's perspective. What started at home has grown into a bustling Ohio workshop, where she still dreams up each playful design. Her favorite reward? Seeing photos of happy cats mid-pounce, captivated by something created just for them.

Excellent Spooky Gift

Bought this as a gift for a fellow cat lady. Her three cats immediately started performing catnip rituals and summoning treats. It is smaller than I realized but still a fun treat for all cats! Will be buying again.
