Perfect Christmas Gift
I live in NYC and every year I bring bagels home as a gift to my brother who is a huge bagel enthusiast but can't get fresh bagels in Maine. This year I bought him this kit as a gift and he loved it! It's from NYC so you know the bagels were authentic. Almost all the ingredients were included and perfectly portioned and the instructions were easy to follow! I'd definitely buy this again for anyone who loves bagels and/or loves baking. #sweepstakes

Fun project if you've never made bagels before.
Received as a gift and always wanted to try making bagels. I was disappointed to find no instructions enclosed. You have to scan a QR code to get them from the company's website. However, there is no printable version! You'll have to keep a laptop on your workspace (if you have the room) or write it all out (and it's a lot!). Although there's a lot of steps, it's fairly easy, and it was fun. The bagels are actually pretty bland compared to other plain bagels, but they toast up nicely and are fine with butter & cream cheese!

Fun Date Idea
Got this kit for my sister and her boyfriend as they both love to cook. They had a ton of fun mixing up their own colors and said the bagels were delicious! I'd call that a win! #sweepstakes

Bagels come out beautiful & tasty
Great activity for kids. This was a lot of steps and took a long time so start earlier than you want to eat but it was worth it. The bagels came out beautiful and they delicious. We enjoyed the activity and the meal. Box says you get 12 bagels, I guess that's depending on how big you cut the strips, we had 8 big bagels. Also, it's not listed but you might like to have a rolling pin for rolling out the dough. We didn't have one but it would have been helpful (and then maybe would have made 12 bagels) . I'd recommend to read instructions online before the day you are planning to make these so you know the steps involved and the timing.

Fun Kitchen Experiment!
Such a cool kit! This was a holiday gift for a family member, who love to be a little experimental with food, but is not at all a chef.

Only so-so
Got a bad batch of yeast in the kit, it never activated. We are relatively frequent bakers so just improvised by using instant yeast we had on hand. It got the job done but it meant we did not get the same level of proofing which was disappointing. Flavor was ok. The kids really enjoyed it as more of an art project with making and twisting the dough more than anything.
