A lifelong artist, Lucy Schaeffer's work has focused on commercial photography, shooting images and video for well-known brands. She fell in love with pottery after her first class in 2018, and it's become a second career. Lucy crafts ceramics in the small garage studio at her home in upstate New York, where she lives with her husband and two kids. "I especially love making functional ware," she says. "Unique pieces that bring beauty and art to someone's home and can be used every day."

Gorgeous dish, beautiful message

I am so enamored with this dish! It is a gorgeous, deep forest green, the leaf design is impeccable, and I adore the message. It really looks like leaves were cast to create it! It brings a bit of magic to my otherwise dreary desk and I couldn't resist getting one for a friend. It is a very thoughtful gift (go me!).
