Maggie Bean is a California-based glass artist whose love for the craft began after a knee injury in 2006 led her to explore art during recovery. What started as painting and pottery soon evolved into a passion for glassblowing, a medium she fell for in college and never looked back. Maggie earned her BFA in Fine Art, studied abroad in Italy to deepen her skills, and now creates vibrant, light-catching pieces from her mountain studio near Yosemite. Working primarily solo, she draws on years of experience (and a touch of magic) to shape glass into joyful, lasting forms.
