Athena Bandit is a metalsmith in Vermont?s Northeast Kingdom, where she creates jewelry using dried plants and metal. Trained at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, she holds a BFA in Fine Art and fell in love with metal while exploring different mediums. Her work is shaped by the wild beauty around her and a family tradition of adornment passed down from her mother and grandmother. Each piece captures delicate details, like dragonfly wings and pressed leaves, that become lasting keepsakes. Athena works solo with help from her two kids, pets, and lots of curiosity. She lives on 25 wooded acres and crafts in a small studio by a brook. For her, metalsmithing is memory made tangible.

My 2nd Pair!!

I bought the brass style of these earrings for myself and fell in love with them! I knew I had to purchase the silver ones for my mom for her birthday! (Hydrangeas are one of her favorite flowers.) They are so lightweight and I love the subtlety of the design. It makes them so easy to pair with any outfit. I would love to purchase a silver pair for myself or give either pair as gifts to someone in the future.
