Fraudulent! Buyer Beware!!
I tried to order earrings for my mother with our family's birthstones, and while I can confidently tell you all these so-called gems are fake, I can 100% guarantee these are NOT opals. All of the beads look awful, but the opals are the most egregious by far. I've attached a picture of my genuine opal stud earrings next to one of the earrings I received. You will notice the opals are solid white, not a cloudy and translucent pink. Furthermore, and this is the one that cannot possibly be a misunderstanding over color or style, opal is a soft gem that cannot be faceted (cut sharply) like other gemstones. They can be polished ONLY, so they are always smooth and rounded with no sharp edges because an opal physically cannot be faceted, and you can see the faceting on the pink beads. Opal is my birthstone, and I've spent my entire life dealing with most birthstone items featuring pink tourmaline because of this. My own class ring has amethyst in it because an opal cannot be cut into the shape of a class ring stone the way every other birthstone can, and I don't like pink tourmaline, so I just chose the birthstone gem that matched my favorite color. That was one of the things that drew me to this item; I was delighted to find they were offering actual opal, and it explained the high price point. These are not opals, period, end of story, not up for debate. (Edit: I contacted the seller who said they are 'pink opals,' which is NOT a birth stone, and I still don't believe they are real.) On top of that, the beads look horrible, they are dingy and faded, and the frame they are wired to is thin and cheap. Uncommon Goods gave me a gift certificate to make up for it, but honestly? I'm disgusted. They did nothing to vet this creator (when I brought the problem to their attention, they said, 'Well, we asked, and the business said they are definitly gemstones, so...') and they're just going to allow this fraudulent business to go on scamming people. Don't waste your time or money.

they were ok
They were ok, not as pictured or as special as I wanted. The stone for June is not at all pretty, definitely needs improvement! It was a gift. Th recipient seemed to like them. I was disappointed!

Nice, but…
I was a bit disappointed in the color of stones. They fell out of my ear lines on the first day I wore them. They should come with rubber backing. I expected more for the price.
Response from merchant
Hello. Earrings may not have backings for several reasons, including the type of earrings themselves or the specific design, but we understand that added security—such as a rubber stopper—can be helpful. We appreciate your review! If there is anything we can do to make this a better experience we’d love to know.

The craftsmanship is nice but..
Beware, these are TINY in size! Pretty design but I expected them to be bigger considering how much I paid for them. I can barely notice when my Grandmother is wearing them.
Response from merchant
We appreciate your feedback! We work to be transparent with each item's size. The measurements for the earrings are as listed on our page, Pendant: 14x22 mm; Drop: 1". We’re happy to offer a forever return policy and we’re here to help if there is more we can do!

Makes a great gift!
I customized these for a friend and they turned out great - very pretty, a little smaller than I thought they would be, but still a nice size. The order came quickly too! Very happy with purchase and will buy again. #sweepstakes
