Born in Pittsburgh and raised in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Jennifer Woods was always surrounded by art and music. "I started with plastic beads," she says, "then hemp, and later sterling silver and stained-glass jewelry." Jennifer attended a high school for the performing arts and taught herself the guitar at age 18. Worlds collided in 2010 when Jennifer was changing her strings. "They have a mind of their own and are tough to tame," she explains, "but I love the way they move under my hands."
