Avik Maitra’s background is in product design while Rich Moore specializes is in graphic design and illustration. The two met in architecture school at Columbia, where they started an ongoing conversation about a wide range of project ideas. Soon after graduation, they moved to Portland, Oregon to focus on projects that combined their passions for graphic design, product design, and architecture.

Fantastic Find

We hung this rack by the front door in our beach cottage. It morphs from coat rack in the spring to beach towel rack in the summer. Love that we can change the space between items so easily by just flipping the pegs. So easy to install

I liked it so much I bought it again

We use it to hang light coats/jackets, fleeces, and baby items. It's saves use a lot of floor space because it hangs on the wall. It is not an eye sore and in fact looks great on the wall. We get a lot of compliments from friends and family about it. It was very easy to install as well.

NOT useful

I was SO excited to put this up in our new home. Unfortunately it took a while to move, so my return policy had expired by the time I put this up. Not only did they send me black when I ordered the natural wood, but this does not stay in the wall. It's difficult to put up, as the wedges are always flipping around. It doesn't hold weight well at all-- it immediately pulled out of the wall. It took some serious doing to get it to stay up for any extended period of time, and less than 10 months later, it can't hold anything and has ripped a nickel-sized hole in our walls.
