Care
The glass pieces have been tumbled to smooth sharp edges, but they’re still glass—handle gently and avoid applying pressure once glued.
Indoor display only: This mosaic is intended for indoor use. Prolonged exposure
to moisture or direct sunlight may affect the wood and grout.
Dust gently: Use a dry or slightly damp soft cloth to wipe the surface. Avoid soaking or scrubbing.
Let it fully cure: Allow grout to dry for a full 24 hours before hanging or
handling.
Store extra pieces safely: If you have leftover glass, keep them in a secure container away from children or pets.

Great project for yourself or as a gift!
I bought both the hummingbird and the mushroom kit I completed the hummingbird for myself. The instructions were very easy to follow and I love my finished hummingbird. Everything I needed was included in the kit so that makes it easy to do. It was fun to break a few pieces of glass to make pieces fit but definitely wear safety glasses and keep it covered as it does fly. The only problem I had was keeping track of the little eye bead on the hummingbird but I kept finding it so all good. I bought the mushroom one as a gift for a mushroom loving friend. A great little project and I think a great gift!

What age is this stained glass project good for.

The mosaic stained glass kit is best suited for adults or older teens (around 14+) who can handle sharp glass pieces safely. It’s not recommended for young children, as the kit contains real glass and involves techniques like breaking pieces to fit shapes. If you’d like to make it a family activity, I recommend that adults handle all the cutting/shaping while younger participants help with arranging and gluing the pieces.
