Great idea but wish it didn't require such frequent tweaking
My Dad and I Love looking at the movement and completed pictures it creates. Not happy with the frequency of having to adjust the amount of air necessary for it to work properly.

Very pleased
It arrived very nicely packaged so it wasn't harmed by shipping at all (I get nervous about that with anything expensive/fragile!), and looks great. At first the sand was falling flat, there were no visible air bubbles at all - which matches what it says in directions to expect; so I followed instructions to add air and that was easy, now it's working well. Blue/gray shades with a little bit of glittery gold colored sand mixed in - subtle but pretty colors.

Each piece does contain a unique blend of white, brown, black and gray sands which also combine to form a variety of hues.The artist for this piece goes to great lengths to find the right combinations for each work.

YES THERE ARE GOLD FLECKS AND A MAROON COLOR SAND, GREY, BLACK AND WHITE. IT IS AMAZING TO WATCH HOW THEY END UP. AT FIRST WE DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE THE MAROON.
