Jale Sivaslioglu is a retired veterinarian who began exploring her passion after 35 years of caring for animals. This new adventure started when she learned to work with oil paints. Capturing the essence of animals in her work, Jale used her knowledge of anatomy to create lifelike portraits. Her curiosity and creativity led her to explore ceramics, which resulted in a series of animal sculptures. “It all started with the brilliant ideas and support of my engineer and designer son,” she says.
