Can acrylic paints be used with this?

We ask that only markers and color pencils are used. Acrylic paints can leave a residue on the scanners so we are not able to process books using paints. We appreciate you asking!

Hi there! There isn't anything unique about the pen that comes with the set, so the makers of this item said that any other pen or fine-tip marker will work just fine! Hope he has fun making his comic book!

There are no expiration dates on these kits. You are free to send in whenever you complete it to redeem your free copy. Once you send the book, it takes 4-6 weeks to mail the finished book to you.

Great question! The Comic Book kit comes with a prepaid envelope. Once your illustrated story is complete, simply seal it in the pre-paid envelope and slip it into the mail. It will take 4-6 weeks for finished book to be mailed back to you.
